As a mother, busy days and hectic schedules quickly become the norm. Hoping to rejuvenate a tired appearance proves to be challenging. Not only is it difficult to take time for yourself, but a long and lengthy recovery period is often not an option. Fortunately, at the Center for Plastic Surgery at Castle Rock, we are able to perform a number of non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures to help you look—and feel—your best.
Along with Dr. Rhee and Dr. Archibald, our aesthetic nurse specialist, MeiLon, favors injectable treatments like Botox® and Juvéderm® along with CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing.
Botox
Being a mom is no easy feat. The stresses of raising a child (or teenager!) may cause you to develop one or two wrinkles along the way. Botox lessens the appearance of wrinkles and creases by relaxing the muscles that cause them to form. When performed by a skilled injector, Botox works well on frown lines (in between the brows), crow’s feet (at the other corner of the eyes), and worry lines (placed along the forehead). A quick in-and-out treatment, Botox takes no more than a half-an-hour.
Juvéderm
A versatile treatment, Juvéderm can reverse the effects of sleepless nights. As a soft tissue dermal filler, Juvéderm boosts volume and can smooth fine lines, wrinkles, and heavy creases, restore volume loss, and soften shrunken hollows. Like Botox, Juvéderm can be performed in a matter of minutes and is often labeled a “lunchtime” procedure.
CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing
You have probably found that your skincare regimen is no longer what it used to be. Perfect for moms desiring total skin rejuvenation with minimum downtime, CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing targets a number of common skin complaints by improving the skin’s texture and tone as well as encouraging your body’s natural production of collagen.
